Dr Daniel De Angelis
I am a Specialist Orthodontist with over 20 years’ experience in dentistry and orthodontics.
I love what I do! I first studied to become a dentist then I did an additional three years of study at the University of Adelaide to specialise in straightening teeth and correcting bites. With qualifications recognised both nationally and internationally, I have treated over 10,000 patients. This is a real honour and privilege to me.
As a father of two young boys, I am particularly passionate about treating and improving the lives of children. I’m really passionate about transforming the smiles and the lives of all my patients – adults, teens and children.
I am also partial to a gin and love to run to keep fit.
I began my dental career over 20 years ago, initially as a dental assistant, which has provided me with a wealth of dental knowledge.
Over the years I have actively seeked to improve my skills and knowledge base with further education and countless short courses. This gives me the flexibility to do a vast number of duties and different roles in the dental field.
I’m passionate about providing patients with the best possible service. I understands that patients can sometimes be frightened or stressed. I pride myself on making sure the whole experience is as comfortable and relaxed as possible for them and their loved ones.
When I’m not working I enjoy spending quality time with her husband and five children.
My love for dental began 6 years ago when I started out as a trainee dental nurse. I knew from my very first day that this was my passion!
Over the years, I’ve been blessed with many opportunities to expand my knowledge in a field I am so passionate about. In further efforts to broaden my knowledge, I chose to begin a new chapter in orthodontics with the team at TOC.
I pride myself in being able to provide patients of all ages with the best possible experience. This is to ensure that they feel relaxed and informed during their appointment. I see it as a privilege to assist anyone in achieving their orthodontic goals. The most rewarding thing for me is our patients leaving with a smile they love!
In my spare time I love curling up with a good book and a warm cup of tea. I also have two beautiful cats that like to curl up with me.
I have been working as a clinician for 10 years after completing anAdvanced Diploma in Oral Health. Prior to that, I undertook a traineeship in Orthodontics at the Adelaide Dental Hospital. I pride myself in making patients feel comfortable and relaxed in their orthodontic appointments by being kind and gentle.
